We Pray

Oh, I pray,
Blasphemy that is not my way.
I pray when the sun rises,
I pray when the moon comes up.
I pray.

Kids, how many kids
Don't remember anymore?
fingertips have lost their count-
Just following our leaders and God,
No difference between the two.
I pray.
"Filthy infiltrators, they deserve to die."
I pray.
I will protect my gods;
Let the house I live in crumble,
My God needs my protection,
Even our leader said so.
We vote,
And I pray.
I pray.
And I need to hate him for the family he was born in.
Communitize,
And pray.
The world is changing;
God’s in the feed,
Can’t find Him in my heart.
We will be number one, you see,
In praying,
In building,
In burning,
Because we pray,
The scriptures said so.
I pray,
Pray and hate—
No, not hate, protect my faith.
Burn it,

Cleanse it,
Sacrifice it,
Let it wash itself in the holy fire,
Impure because you touched it,
Broken because you violated it.
Hid it,
Broke it.
Let her burn,
Purify, cleanse.
Let truth be,
Let her be.
Let her rest in death,
Let her rest in peace,
into the dark oblivion of no faith or belief.
Let the dead go to the death's evergrowing land,
While you rejoice
And paint everything else you see as her
As she looks on
From the death's land.
Let her die,
Let her go in peace,
And when the ashes of our promises remain,
Let us think of different men when we look up at the sky.
We Pray.
