Wounds, how long does it really hurt? How much pain can it really cause? and how long till it hurts a little less, and finally when does the pain really go away and we are back to how we used to be?

It's pretty evident I'm not really talking about the wounds the surface feels, this goes deeper than that, but in strange ways very closely connected to same old wound.

For instance, we are running like our younger selves would, out in the open with no real fear within us and all of a sudden there's a jerk someone pushes us and we trip lose balance and fall, the fall's momentary but what follows isn't, then comes the wound. Even when the physical repercussions ain't the same our wounds inside work similarly, only difference we can see how much we are healing when it's out in front of us, but what about these wounds we can't see but they continue to hurt us the same even more at times?

Somedays it feels like we never really got hurt and the other times we wonder if we'll ever go back to being the same person- one without this pain and this hurt. Maybe as kids when we fell, we fell quiet often and maybe it was life teaching us or giving us a small prequel to what we'll be experiencing in life, it's the same right now we don't run freely like we used to with wind in our hair and no care, but our heart still does and so we fall, love- fall and bring in our Wounds. Scars of life is what we carve.
